Nikon D700 Day 1
I got my new Nikon D700 camera on August 8th and these are the pictures I shot the first day. Most of them are poorly exposed or out of focus as I'm relearning how to use an SLR style camera after years of neglect. Almost all the images were shot with this Nikon 35-70mm lens. It's a great lens, but I think it has at least 1 scratch that is apparent in my long exposure lightning images which I shot on subsequent nights...it's also been sitting in a humid Florida closet for years and probably needs to be professionally cleaned. Despite that, I'm slowly learning how to coax great images from it, which you will see on some subsequent albums I will be posting shortly.
